I’m super picky when it comes to sunglasses because I really don’t like how a lot of them look on my face. While my tried and true will always be RayBan Aviators, I have slowly started branching out and trying new styles (usually sticking to the RayBan brand, which suit me the best). That doesn’t stop me from seriously lusting after the trendy styles of the moment and there are so many amazing pairs right now. I will definitely be trying some of these on before ruling any out. Fingers crossed!
This month was definitely all over the map when it came to weather. In fact, in Canada, we had more snow in April than we did the whole winter combined. We also had some really warm days too. I chose to focus on those warm day outfits when picking this month’s favorites. I seemed to have favored my spring finds from Loft this month, but that’s no surprise since I love the store all year round.
I still really love this trend and I’m really happy it’s still here for the spring/summer this year. I found some really great options at various price ranges. I think all would be great for both day or night. Now to decide which one I want to pick out for myself!
When I saw this dress on Chichwish‘s website I really fell in love. It was my favorite type of floral pattern, the flowers were not overpowering and it was a beautiful, watercolor pattern. It’s light and breezy but definitely has a lot of fabric so it gives good coverage (no underwear peeking through). A perfect dress for a bridal shower or even as a summer wedding dress. I probably would have worn this in the early to middle stages of my pregnancy without the sash. I can’t wait to bust this dress out this summer.

I picked this top up at h&m as an option to wear to a friend’s birthday dinner but didn’t end up wearing it that night. I put it aside and kind of forgot about it until my little guy was playing in my closet. I’m so happy that he pulled the top out because I love how pretty it is. I wore it the other day with a blazer over top (I took a pic and will likely post it to IG soon) and I can’t wait to wear it more this spring when it gets warmer out. I love the pattern on the top and the light, flowy material of it too. Pink never used to catch my eye when shopping for clothes but I can’t seem to help myself, especially when it comes to blush tones.
It’s time for my favorite March IG posts and there were a few favorites that I really, really loved. I included a lot of my favorite khaki green and of course I had to throw some leopard clutch love in there too. While the weather isn’t cooperating with my need for Spring clothes, I am definitely enjoying putting together outfits for Spring both here on my blog and on my Instagram account too. I can’t wait to put some of these outfits to good use!
A few posts back, I picked out some great floral dresses that are available right now. I found this Joe Freshdress a week or so ago and it reminded me of one of the dresses that I loved most in my previous post, so obviously I had to scoop it up. I was surprised by how nice the dress fits and even happier when I realized it had pockets (always a big plus). I’ve styled the dress three different ways down below. What makes the dress perfect, is it works for both spring and summer. The material isn’t too thick, so you can layer it for when it’s cooler out and on warmer days you can wear it alone with simple sandals.
I ordered this striped, off the shoulder top, as soon as I saw it on Forever 21‘s website and was so excited to put it on once it was delivered. I had a bit of fun with it and my hubby humored me while I tried it on a couple of slightly different ways. Probably not his ideal way to spend some time on a Sunday afternoon but he was nice enough to snap the pics and it was pretty funny once my little guy got involved too (the last photo was me laughing at my son while he imitated his dad taking photos). The top is as great as I thought it would be and I love the stripes (obviously). I will definitely be wearing it with some high-waisted skirts during the spring and summer too!
I really love the new style of tops that have a criss cross tie in the front. There is just something I love about how they look and how many different varieties they come in. I picked up this one from H&M and I really love it. The material has a sheen to it which makes it a bit dressier and the color is a deep navy. I’ve styled it down below and I can’t wait to wear this look out with friends this spring. I will definitely be picking up a couple more of these tops soon!
