Mommy Life

I’ve been posting outfits on Intagram for about 2 years now and I still love doing it. I’ve gone through periods of posting a lot to times when things were so busy in my life that I struggled to post and at times was only able to post a few times a week. I didn’t know if I was going to be able to post very much once I had my son, I had noticed some moms stay very active on IG after having a baby and some moms, would post less and less until they stopped all together. Posting can be time consuming and sometimes it’s hard to come up with new outfits that are interesting and different everyday. Some days call for an old pair of jeans and a simple t-shirt that is far from photo-worthy.

Since having my little guy, some days are really tough to post but surprisingly it has increased my love of posting on IG. It is my time and my “hobby” and something I like to do for myself and the ladies I have connected with are so special and important to me. Taking the photos can be a bit of a mad dash but sometimes I am able to get some really special ones, which tend to be some of my favorites by far.

I’m pretty sure he thought I was taking his photo. I take an insane amount of photos of him so he’s used to seeing the phone pointed at him.

My shoes were super interesting to him, probably because of the pattern and he loved playing with the fabric.

After an extensive investigation of my shoes, he eventually lost interest and moved on to one of his toys that were conveniently located just outside the camera’s frame.

After taking a ton of photos with him in the pic I finally I got a photo that I liked and was able to post my outfit of the day pic!
